Can I use this every day?
Yes, most oily and acne-prone skin types can use it morning and night. If you’re sensitive, start once daily and monitor how your skin responds.
Does this treat fungal acne?
This cleanser contains fatty acids such as Myristic Acid, Palmitic Acid, Lauric Acid and Oleic Acid, which are not considered fungal-acne safe. While it may help reduce surface oil and congestion, it is not specifically formulated to treat Malassezia or fungal acne. If you are managing fungal acne, you may prefer a cleanser without fatty acids and esters that can potentially feed Malassezia.
Can I use this with retinol or exfoliating toners?
Because it already contains Salicylic Acid, avoid layering multiple strong exfoliants in the same routine to prevent irritation. Pair it with soothing and barrier-supporting products instead.
