Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun Rice + Niacinamide SPF50+ PA++++ is a a lightweight, moisturising facial sunscreen that combines SPF50+ PA++++ protection with the comfortable feel of daily skincare. Made with 30% rice extract, niacinamide and fermented grain extracts, its creamy texture leaves skin feeling soft and hydrated with a fresh, dewy finish.
Designed for everyday wear, Relief Sun spreads easily and sits comfortably beneath makeup. Its nourishing texture is especially appealing for normal, dry and dehydrated skin, without the heavy feel often associated with sunscreen.
Packaging update
The QR code label is being replaced with a transparent seal sticker featuring the Beauty of Joseon logo. During the transition, you may receive either packaging version.
How to use
Apply generously and evenly as the final step of your morning skincare routine, before makeup. Apply 20 minutes before going outdoors, covering all exposed skin. As a guide, an average adult needs approximately one teaspoon for the face, ears and neck combined.
Reapply at least every two hours when outdoors, and after swimming, sweating or towel drying. Choose a water-resistant sunscreen for swimming or activities that cause sweating. Always follow the directions on your packaging.
Sunscreen is only one part of sun protection. Use alongside shade, protective clothing, a broad-brimmed hat and sunglasses. No sunscreen provides complete protection from UV radiation.

Yes. Beauty of Joseon has renamed Relief Sun Rice + Probiotics to Rice + Niacinamide as part of a labelling update. The brand confirms that the formula remains unchanged.
Does it leave a white cast?
The formula is designed to blend into skin without a noticeable white cast. Finish can vary with skin tone and the amount applied.
Can I wear it under makeup?
Yes. Apply your sunscreen evenly and allow it to settle before applying makeup. You still need to reapply sunscreen during outdoor exposure.
Do I still need moisturiser?
That depends on your skin. Some people find the formula moisturising enough on its own, while dry skin may prefer a separate moisturiser underneath. Do not reduce the amount of sunscreen to make it feel lighter.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Skin tolerance varies, so patch test before use, especially if your skin is sensitive. Stop using it if irritation occurs.
