Demystifying Confirmation Emails: Why You Should Always Receive One

Published by Stephen Beath (with the help of ChatGPT) on 15th Dec 2023

Ah the age old problem, you've just purchased something online, and no confirmation email received.

What the hey you think? What is happening! So you send a robust email to the online shop expressing frustration that you've purchased something but not receiving any confirming any emails.

Ok, so let's clear this up.

We always send a confirmation email, it's automatic so not relying on human forgetfulness.

Once the email reaches your Email Service Provider, their systems will scan the email to determine if it's junk, phishing or any of those other terms to effectrively determine if it's going to end up in your inbox.

Our advice is to add 'hello@kissandmakeup.co.nz' to your safe senders list to ensure you receive all our emails. And also just check your junk box occassionally if in case it's been sent to the naughty corner.

We hope this information helps, do drop Stephen an email stephen@kissandmakeup.co.nz if you have any qs or feedback.
